About Julie Hardee

I did not love growing up in rural Arkansas. 

I have a a BFA from Henderson State University. 

I lived in North Carolina from 2002 - 2007. I worked in property management, on a documentary film festival and an internet company. I was a party photographer because this was before camera phones. I worked at the NCMA on a Monet exhibit. I loved working at a party invitation shop. I'll always start an invitation with "Please join us..." 

I lived in New York City from 2007 - 2012. I had a "how did you get that job" fashion career working for the stylist from Sex and the City then I became an in-house model at a clothing manufacturer.  We might argue about zipper placement and the hand-feel of yarn. While we lived in NYC, I blogged about bicycle commuting and did bicycle lane expansion advocacy. 

I moved back to Little Rock in 2012.
